About the artist
Chenyin Li is an internationally active pianist whose playing combines stylistic rigour, imagination and expressive intensity. She has appeared at leading venues including Wigmore Hall, the Royal Festival Hall and Queen Elizabeth Hall, and has performed as soloist with orchestras such as the Royal Scottish National Orchestra and China Symphony Orchestra.
A prolific recording artist, she has contributed to nearly one hundred CDs as the exclusive pianist for Pianist magazine since 2011. The Daily Telegraph has praised her playing as “gritty, fiery and athletic”.
