Biographies


Johannes Moore started singing as a chorister at Hereford Cathedral, performing a wide range of repertoire as a treble, including Bach  and  Haydn as well as John Adams’ ‘On the Transmigration of Souls’ with the Three Choirs Festival and Elgar’s Dream of Gerontius at the Royal Albert Hall.


After school, Johannes pursued a career as a singer at the Royal Academy of Music, where he gained a first class honours degree and Master of Arts.  As a recitalist, Johannes is part of the Royal Academy’s Song Circle, performing at Leeds Lieder festival and Wigmore Hall in 2024. He has performed recitals of English, French and German song across the UK as well as in China with International Young Soloists.  He has also appeared in numerous operatic roles from Mozart to Puccini.


Ilan Kurtser’s early training was in Israel with Enn Wittenberg and later at the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music, Tel-Aviv University with Asaf Zohar.  He is currently a Fellow at the Royal Academy of Music where he enjoys curating concerts for the Academy Song Circle and Academy Voices concert series, teaching and coaching singers and pianists.   He has won numerous prizes in competitions in the UK and abroad, including the three major accompaniment prizes at the Royal Academy of Music.
